Father's Day Card

Well it's almost Father's Day and not much is done around this time for the Fathers. Even the world admits that is not as popular to do as EPIC as we do for the Mothers. Sad but it's true. I remember when I was younger my family would do a cook out. But guess who cooked out in the grill? Yup, my Dad. My Mom would do all the yummy stuff inside that was not able to on a grill. But we all ate very yummy stuff. With always having corn on the comb. Burnt from the outside and perfect in the inside...

Plus, we had all the cousins over all the time too. Memories that will last forever. Although, my Dad no longer lives in the same state but we text a lot and he is always sending me silly text. With silly pictures too. He not only does it to me but my Brothers and Sister too. Oh, he also does it to my kids-which is the best, LoL.

What are some of your memories as a childhood on Father's Day?

Last night I put together this card for my Hubby. He is the most amazing Father I know. He is always thinking about his kids before himself. Since day ONE. The most unselfish man I know. Doesn't ask for much but a clean home and home cooked meals. Not much but he is so well worth all that just needs.

Isn't that a super fantastic card? Unique shape and so perfect for a men.

I gotta be honest I was a little afraid when I saw it had 22 dies in this kit. But heck its NO different then cutting up on my Cricut machine or doing digital images. So, why not try the dies? By the way I did use the Cuttlebug for the dies.

As always I use this super fantastic glue...

I can even purchase it at one of my favorite stores too. At Hobby Lobby with a coupon. I am a coupon kind of gal.

I had used this paper pack bought at Michaels, another favorite store of mine. It's called Regent Street and the paper was perfect that had the top hats on them. Thick good paper and well worth the money spent with a coupon, of course.

Birthday card

Remember all the stamp sets I stamped while I was sick 2 years ago? Well, this another image I stamped on a die cut that I cut from the Cricut.



Do you think I remember who makes the image? Nope. I just recalled stamping and thinking I stamped it wrong. Should I toss it? Well, we are not all perfect and so I guess I kept it.

I think its funny when I try to make it all perfect but maybe it took 2 or 4 times to stamp correct. But why? Why stress out and do that? Why not go with the flow and make it a old distressing look to it?!

How many images have you tossed on side and not used because its in perfect look to it?

Or how many images have you stamped and not colored or used?

EASY, EASY to use for a scrapbook layout... 

I used DCWV and I love their paper. Then to top it off using these super fantastic stamp sets are easy, clear and creative. Washi tape and few buttons, wallah! 

EASY, EASY to use for any occasion.

Stamped the bubble speech and saying on DCWV and cut around it. Used Glue Dots to add to these containers and wallah -super super cute treat for anyone.

Quick and easy to make a card....

Cards for men

If its been one thing I lack of is making "men" cards.
Why, why and why?
If they are more simple then anything.

If just maybe because I over think it too. Men are not about bling and glittery things. So, restrain I myself on making it simple but to the point or should I say straight to the TIE, lol

It was easy to make and I couldn't believe I was done within a 15 minutes. For the shirts. Just make rectangles cut down the top and fold forward.. wallah! Add the ties and your done.

Hello, I have had a amazing life. I know that without love in it, it would not mean much. Love is everything. On top of what you do it makes life easier with LOVE in it. Doing for others or just being their for others too. The greatest LOVE I have learn is God's LOVE. Plain and simple. I would not be the person I am if
LOVE was not in my life.

I really know that LOVE is all that holds my LIFE together.
My life without LOVE I am lost.

Not a typical Valentine's project or saying but LOVE is the best feeling in life.

Instant Happy

So, I had these yummy S'more chocolate that literally  TASTE like S'more....  

Wrapped them up cute to share with the family and it was a INSTANT HAPPY.

Cookie idea

Ideas for a cookie plate. 

I have to be honest. I did NOT bake the cookies. I work at a doctor's office and we have many patients that bake for us.  I usually do make a few cookies but I just have not had a chance. 

I embossed the saying Merry Christmas and love it!
 I wrote a personal note for all these little cards.

Those cookies are like FIVE inches round. They are perfect in taste. She made chocolate chip and oatmeal. When I displayed them on table no wanted to eat them. They asked "Who's cookies are those?" LoL, I laughed and said they are ours. Then within 1 hour they were all gone.

Nick Name

Every so often I over think about making a project. I want so much or I want that BANG! HA! I think that is when I look at the finish work and say
 why? why? did I make that? LoL

With that said after a 5 hour work day I went straight to my craft room and made this card....

Yup, I used my Cameo. Its been so long and the worm image was downloaded so long ago that 

I can't even remember where I got it.

Isn't that cute?! My youngest son-Josh's nickname is "Squirmy". Because as a baby he wouldn't stop moving. And still today he is very active. Well, that is the nickname I gave him but his big brother calls him "Junebug". He was born in June so that was his reason for the nickname.
