The story behind this hop for me.

My Sister lost her precious little one in 2006. It's hard enough to even describe how difficult that day was to hold him but to cherish at the same time. It was very difficult for my Sister and her Husband on this day. Not knowing what words to express or what to do was difficult. Seeing her hold him on her chest and his little hands & his little feet look perfect. He looked perfect. He was perfect. My heart was heavy and my Sister & her Husband's hearts were even heavier.

Taking these pictures were extremely difficult for me but my Sister requested for me to do so. My eyes are filling with tears as I write these words and this feeling in the stomach makes me just weep like a baby. I know in my heart baby Christian is healthy right by Jesus side. Remembering him makes me smile but sad at the same time such a mix feeling. I know its difficult to have seen him like this but in our hearts we know he is happy. Deeper feelings are building up as I start to type and I have to stop to before the tears are to hard to hold back.
Now, let me share the.....

Scrapbook layout for my Sister and her Husband.

  3. I hope you realize what a cherished gift your beautiful photos and layouts are. Your sister needed you and you were there for her.
I have two angel babies. One lost due to miscarriage and our sweet daughter, Michelle, who didn't develop a brain. I wish I had photos of my little ones. I am comforted by my belief that my mom and dad are caring for my sweet angels until we are reunited.
    Heartfelt hugs,
    D~

  6. so sweet! photos are so important! I am so glad I have some. My loss was before the days of widely used digital photos, so I scanned them. Your job was very important! I was the official photographer at my sister's births (also the doula) and even though they were all healthy it is a great moment to capture...you were very strong to do such a hard job! thank you for preserving these memories for you and them.
