Football

This is not a normal crafty post but more of a personal post. My son is 16 years old, 6' 2" tall, 280 pounds beefed and he is a Sophomore in High School. If I can only describe him in one word it would be HUMBLED. Something about that character that makes a human thee most respected person.

I gotta admit I am not the most pleasant person to be around when I have so much in my mind.
 I try to craft .....

and I do a lot of shopping too.

Lots of shopping......

Yes, who doesn't? We think that may help and it those. Temporarily. At least for me.

Then the reality HITS me and what I do best is to be a MOM to this kid....

He brings the best out of me.
When I am sick, mad, sad or depressed.
He makes me HAPPY- exactly like his Father.

On Monday my son was told that he would be playing on Varsity on October 24 but also playing with his Sophomore team. What a honor to hear this.

You see Josh, my son, is NOT prideful or boastful either. He is just plain humbled. Most teenagers would go into a parent's car and start boasting about how he will be on Varsity and going to the FINALS and so forth. Right? Most teenagers would be talking about how he is better then the rest, maybe. Most teenagers when they get a $200 pair of shoes go brag about it, right? Most teenagers wear their new clothes or shoes the next day, right? That is exactly what I mean about Josh. He is none of those. He is humbled and isn't a show off. I remember the days when I would hear 'I was going to 'finals' or had new clothes. I would be bursting out of the seams to show off, lol. You?

Seeing him play and being a great example to the public figure is what we need. We need this character of humbleness to be in all kind of sports.

Yes, Football is a tough and rough sport but why can't they have a attitude of just being humbled?

Josh is one of the captains for his Football team.
This is his 2nd year being captain.

Wanna know how I found out last year he was a leader? At a scrimmage. One of the coaches told me while standing in line getting something to eat.
Yes, I got teary eyed.

I have no doubt God has his hand over him.

This is what I have prayed anyway. Praying is part of my life is epic and no way I would live a life without God. I hope all those Moms that have their kids in sports the best.
May you have a SUPER FANTASTIC DAY
