As you all know I had a long weekend...

I got to hang out with some creative friends on Friday...

These chicas are new in my life and they already have a special place in my hear...

That was Friday and on Saturday I hung out

with my cousins...

We were missing a few gals.

My cousins are like my sisters, we are that close. We grew up together.

Now we grow stronger with each other. i love them very much. We are making a SMASH like journal book for every gathering we have that is so EXCITING!!

This year I decided to make a HUGE effort to hang out more... Family & friends!!

Welcome to our Mardi Gras parade. I must warn you though while you may enjoy jumping up to catch beads, doubloons, cups, stuffed animals--whatever! Please yell at the float riders "Throw me something, Mister!" Bring a large, sturdy plastic or cloth bag to hold all the treasure you'll be catching - if you try to put all of your beads around your neck, you'll have a hard time standing up straight! Be prepared: some people get so overcome with excitement they will occasionally jump in front of you to grab what a rider has thrown to you. Don't get into a tug-o-war....there are many more floats on the way! If you're from far away, some visitors hold up a sign saying where they are from.. our local riders love to see people from far away have a good time and will throw to them to make sure they do!

The colors of Mardi Gras are: Purple which reprsents justice; Green which represents faith; and Gold which represents power.Mardi Gras is always held the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is music, parades, picnics, floats, excitement ... and one big holiday in New Orleans! Everyone is wearing purple, green, and gold; and adorned with long beads caught from the beautiful floats. They sit on the ground throwing balls, playing music, having a picnic, and watching the crowds walk by between parades.

Hanging Out!!

It's Friday and I am so happy!!!!

Today I get to hang out with these

creative friends.

We met through facebook and have insired each since!

This year I have decided to hang out more!!

Not only with friends but with my cousins too.

We try to get together as much as possible.

As for my cousins they are like my sisters.. we are getting together once a month and we are getting to know each other!!!
We had a blast last month. Lots of laughs and tears and we left knowing each other maybe a little much but it was fun, hehehehe

few cousins missing but it was a great turn out!

This Saturday I get hang out with them and I am so excited!! i have it all planned out.

For the frame I used My cricut Imagine and Baby Boutique pg.10 2nd frame.

I used the Cricut Imagine and Baby Boutique pg.15 just the frame and inner circle.

My son colored this with colored pencils!! He is so creative!!!!I use my Cricut Imagine to cut the image in the background & Oranmental Iron2 cartridge pg. 30 3rd image plus the cricut cartridge Audrey. Super easy!

These project my son also colored.. I used the Paper Trimmings Cricut Cartridge pg.45 square image. Design paper by the paper Studio "a Boy's universe.. super cute!!!

Those bookcases came from Wal-Mart. -they are very reasonable price too. The ribbons are held by curtain rods that Hubby installed for me.

I have peg boards on my walls because if I don't see the goodies I WON'T use it.

By the way that table Hubby built for me 4x8. I just painted white after 6 years.

So, I have enjoyed ALL the cartridges that my super fantastic Hubby has bought for me. I think I have gotten at least 29+ cartridges from him and he still has packages in the house.

Hi, it has been 4 long sick days for me. Not good but what a better way to craft then in bed with your Gypsy!!!!

Yep, I used my Gypsy to tie together the Nursery Rhymes & Create a Critter cartridge. Plus I used the Imagine Enjoy the Seasons.

Simple and quick card!!!

You have to understand one thing about the IMAGINE machine.....

it does it for YOU!!!!

If that is the only one reason why I LOVE the IMAGINE it's good enough for one that their mojo is slow or has none at all but still good enough for those that have all the time.

The Santa's Village Imagine cartridge..... Isn't Santa so CUTE!!!!!

At one point I remember not being able to put one or two things together. I feel like I have a extra hand from Imagine.

So, I am sure you have some favorite things... well I sure do. I actually have a few things that are my favorite but I just can't share them all, lol
One of my favorite things are KEYS, yep keys....
the older the better. I collect them. Yes, collect because I can never see me using the keys on projects here are a few...

Okay, okay so I have way more but as I said I can't show you all of it, hehehe

I just really think that keys keep lots of secrets and they keep things safe. Like my Hubby has the key to my heart. My kids have the key to my heart and so on. I just really like keys. All kind of shapes and color. Keys open doors to our next destination. Okay, enough about keys.

Also, "My Favorite Thing" my room.....

Yes, that is one my favorite things-my ROOM.

I have just another thing to share with you... My son's IMAGES. As long as I can remember he has always liked drawing. It comes so easy for him. No big deal. I can just say draw this and he does it. No erasing or tracing. He says he needs ideas-which I have tons, lol

So, the print out is from my NEW Cricut cartridge that Hubby bought me- Baby Boutique. You can read more on how this cartridge was revealed to me on Facebook!!! lol

One but never the least favorite is- God. Yup! My blog is named

created2bunique NOT because my projetcs are unique it's because I

was created to be unique, really.

I am so glad that my favourite things are things I can share with my creative friends :) family and friends!!!!
